Meet Vincent Franco

Principal

Vincent Franco grew up working for his father’s general contracting company in New York City and has been perfecting his craft since he was 10 years old. For over 40 years, Vincent has sought to exceed client expectations on projects large and small. But experience is only part of Vincent’s story. What sets Vincent apart is his attitude towards people and his passion to make every client’s vision a reality. Vincent’s commitment to his clients is unparalleled. A golden gloves boxer and martial artist, Vincent understands that hard work, dedication and willingness to listen and learn are necessary to excel. He brings these qualities and discipline to each client and treats every project as if it were his own. Vincent graduated in 1987 from Catholic University with a BA and Graduate degree in Architecture. Vincent, his wife, Debra, and their five children, reside in Scarsdale NY.

Elizabeth Detmer

Project Manager
As a former client of CDC, Elizabeth joined the team after finding her passion for interior design and project management through her own home projects. With a love of all things ‘classic with a twist’, Elizabeth creates personalized spaces that are smart, functional and beautiful for today’s modern families. As a former Sales Director in the print and digital media world, Elizabeth loves working together with clients to figure out their personal style and needs and how CDC can provide the most beautiful and seamless solutions for their homes. She lives in Scarsdale with her husband and 3 children.

Wendy Gendel

Project Manager
As a satisfied client of Consult Design Construct, Wendy partnered with Vincent after working with CDC on several successful on-time and under-budget projects for her home, and identifying an opportunity to extend her organizational and project management skills to CDC’s clients. Wendy is an expert at overseeing projects of any scale and has long standing experience creating achievable project plans, coordinating critical deliverable schedules and managing efficient team coordination. Prior to joining CDC, Wendy spent over 20 years in the media industry managing large scale corporate projects and marketing initiatives. Originally from NYC, Wendy now resides in Scarsdale with her husband and 2 children.

Dean Nigro

Project Estimator
Dean focuses on working with clients and the CDC team to build out pricing in a thorough and transparent manner. Growing up, Dean always had a deep passion for the construction industry. He loves the process of seeing projects through from start to finish and bringing visions to reality. Dean truly enjoys his ability to apply his skills in finance to accurately estimate the cost of projects. He graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in Finance. In his spare time, Dean enjoys fitness, spending time with family and friends, and reading.

Peter Berghane

Architect
Prior to partnering with Consult, Design, Construct and Vincent Franco, Peter Berghane founded Aedifex, LLC in 2007. Peter graduated from Pratt Institute, School of Architecture in 1988 and has been licensed to practice architecture since 1992. Peter has a history of successful and innovative problem solving in residential, commercial and retail architecture and construction management, based upon his thirty years of experience in the industry. Peter enjoys helping clients transform their ideas into their dream home. A native of Greenwich, Connecticut, Peter resides in North Salem, New York with his wife Aneta and three children.

Cheryl Gianfrancesco

CFO
Cheryl has an extensive background providing operational and accounting related services. Prior to joining Consult Design Construct, she founded the “Portable CFO” helping multiple construction companies with their financial reporting, risk management, billing and expenditures, cash management, internal controls, and working capital management. As Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl is responsible for all financial and operational matters. Cheryl holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration from Iona College.

Matt Axelrod

Partner
Matt has worked in the real estate and construction industry for over twenty-five years. After spending the first part of his career as a certified public accountant working at Berdon LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, he joined several real estate private equity firms in New York City where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director setting strategy, building infrastructure, and overseeing asset and property management. During his career, he has been involved in approximately $250 million of construction related projects. Matt is responsible for business strategy, financial management, and organizational roles and responsibilities. Matt graduated from Boston University in 1988 earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and earned his CPA in 1993.
